Sewing, Knitting & Textile Arts

Instructor, Meejung Jung, has a degree in fashion design. Besides designing and constructing garments, she helps high school students prepare portfolios for applications to design schools. She has taught sewing to children and adults. She is a textile artisan,  skilled in hand sewing, crocheting, embroidery, quilting and knitting. Meejung will be bringing her talent, creativity and love of teaching to our centre and your children.

C500 Sewing, Knitting & Textile Arts | 8 - 13 Years, Monday

Learn to knit, sew and more with Meejung! In this mixed fibre arts class, children will learn and explore a variety of methods and mediums.  Over the 11 week class students will try their hands at knitting, sewing, embroidery, weaving and more.  Participants will develop real life skills, foster their creativity and make a collection of projects they can use, gift and be proud of!
